HR Leadership Roundtable: Changes to the Texas Sexual Harassment Law

Effective September 1, 2021, Texas law expands the definition of “employer” and the duties employers owe their employees in the context of sexual harassment in the workplace. At the next ATC HR Roundtable Discussion, Patrick S. Richter and Mitchell F. Boomer, principal attorneys with Jackson Lewis P.C., explain the changes in Texas sexual harassment law including the employer obligations and related company and potential personal liability the new law creates. They will provide guidance on practical implications and answer questions so employers can be prepared for when the new law goes into effect in September.
